Description
My father is a horticulturist. My farming experience is basically gardening, but I also have a love for working land, building, etc. I'm a well rounded handy man, from engine repair to basic woodworking. My professional career is in IT, but as I near retirement I'd like to transition my life into farming. I'm primarily interested in about 5 acres of workable, partially forested land. I plan to build outbuildings using trees from the lot.
I am completely new to this adventure, and while I am serious, I am also in discovery mode. Open to a variety of options and any advice offered.
