I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2020 with a degree in Sustainable Agriculture. While at UConn, I lived and worked on the student farm, Spring Valley. Post-graduation, I worked in Washington Depot, CT at Helmstead Farm, which was transitioning to no-till. Wanting to get more experience practicing no-till vegetable production, I am currently apprenticing on Frith Farm in Scarborough, ME. Wanting to take my next big farming step, I am currently exploring options for land in Connecticut in the hopes of starting up a farm next year. I am very interested in soil health, insects, beekeeping, and practicing small-scale human-scale agriculture. I am quite interested in returning to Connecticut and being an active member of the agricultural community in the state.
