Fox and Maiden Farm

My wife and daughter are my world, and we've been very fortunate to have careers that have allowed us to spend a lot of time together as a family. After having spent the last 20 years in the wine industry as a sales and business management professional throughout New England and getting a renewed appreciation for the fragility of life during the Covid-19 pandemic, I'm looking to finally follow my passions and do something more meaningful and rewarding. I want to leave the world a better place for my daughter and the generations to come.

I've been farming part time on our 3+ acre home in Stonington CT for the last 4 years and have been studying, reading and taking courses along the way. My vision is a small-scale sustainable farm, in the model of JM Fortier and MH Desroches' Canadian property, Les Jardins de la Grelinette. Through a combination of CSA shares, an on-site farmers collective market and small restaurant clients, I want to slowly but steadily build a business that celebrates the land and it's ability to positively impact the local economy and farming community.
