I have been passionate about heirloom corn for many years. I’ve extensively researched how to grow some varieties, and am excited to bring these varieties to Connecticut. After I ordered the seeds my arrangement with a local farmer fell through, so I’m searching for a new space. I plan to grow four 20x20ft blocks spaced adequately to prevent cross-pollination. The varieties I’ll grow: Jimmy Red, Bloody Butcher, King Philip and Otto File Flint. I do not plan to sell the product, I plan to save the seeds to share and mill small quantities to share. I will need access to water. I have farming experience on a commercial flower farm. I am enthusiastic, have done my research and am completely open to and am excited to learn.
