Hello, my name is Herold, I am an eager life learner. I currently work in healthcare which has led me to an interest in farming. Through my experience in healthcare I have come to the realization that true medicine is food derived, and most diseases plaguing our society are also food derived. Therefore the food that we decide to ingest is critical to our health and longevity. Although this is something that we all know it is something that seems to go over our heads. Which is why I have become more interested in how the food I eat is sourced. Therefore I am embarking on a journey to start a farm that can provide me with healthy organic vegetables. However I am looking for the land to be so much more than a farm. I want to create a sanctuary away from the frivolous mundane troubles of the everyday world. I believe through working the land, understating the cycles of the earth and being one with nature is the best way to combat existential dread that seems so common.
