Description
My dream is to own farm land. I have been a large scale, hobbyist organic vegetable gardener for 11 years now, and would love the opportunity to expand my hobby interest of gardening into a garden/farm business. My interest is in not only owning and preserving a piece of farmland, but improving it as well. I dream of hosting organic gardening workshops, annual seedling sales, and being able to spread out and grow/share my sweet potato collection with everyone in CT & New England. I am skilled in organic and regenerative farming, with experience in no-till systems and year-round crop rotations. I have a growing sweet potato collection of more than 30 varieties. I also dream of being able to setup a small orchard as well.
