I have had many organic gardens and like to specialize in vegetables, flowers, medicinal and useful botanicals and organic non gmo corn. Currently I have nearly 3 acres and this last season was small, I have raised tomatoes, peppers, spinach, potatoes and corn, planted raspberries, blueberries, wild grapes, apple trees, beach plums and pears. I will be selling the 1880 farmhouse and barn where I have made many changes and upgrades myself including electrical and plumbing. I have a 48 inch garden tractor and a 36 inch pull along tiller. I built several chicken coops and a green house. My property borders back bay wildlife sanctuaries which brings both beauty and beasts. I love the insects and critters and work to protect my hens from rodents, snakes and four legged predators continually and humanely. I am now planning for pygora and nigora sheep with a burro for clearing, field maintenace and fiber. Everything I do is done naturally, without chemicals, leaving the smallest footprint possible. My most recent endeavor is honeybees that are doing fairly well.
I am moving back to Connecticut to help my daughter who lives in Ellington and wish to continue raising chickens, growing vegetables and herbs and plants for making soaps and organic skin care products.
