Description
My partner Joshua and I are organic vegetable farmers and are currently looking for the right land to start our own venture. I have seven years of fieldwork experience and have farmed on both the west and east coast. Joshua has eleven years of experience and has managed a 15-acre farm with 7 crew members and has also run his own farm and CSA.
For the past two years, we have lived and worked on our friend's organic vegetable farm in Damascus PA. The goal was to help her for a few years and then start something of our own. We are very interested in on-farm stores, you-pick, selling at markets and to restaurants and starting a CSA. I currently work and manage the on-farm store here, and am interested in the retail side of things as well as working in the fields. Joshua is more interested in planning, planting and growing produce.
