Greetings and blessings,
Since I was a child all I saw around me and ate were home grown food directly from my grandparents farm lands. Animal’s raised with love that supplied us with nourishment and allowed us to earn an income to sustain ourselves.
Than when my grandparents died my parents lost the land as other’s forcefully took it from them but they did not know better or what to do in order to save it.
As a backyard farmer and gardener for over 30 years I aspire to one day own land and have a therapeutic homestead where individuals whom have experienced trauma can come to renew their spirits and heal in the gardens filled with animals enjoying their peace. Growing my own food, supplying the local community struggling with food insecurity and teaching brown people and other marginalized groups and disabled communities the importance of food sustainability, growing and taking care of our earth or lands by loving it and caring for it is what my purpose is in life. To give and help others…
I want to teach and train others in the most memorable richest time in my life I most remembered as the joyous, happiest and healthiest when I was just a child in the campos of Puerto Rico learning about our indigenous ancestors and growing medical gardens that heal without the need of putting chemicals in my body.
I pray and ask God for a miracle that some day my dreams will come through and I will be able to partner with someone who has available and/or unused land so I can begin living off the grid just how Mother Earth intended us to be so some day my grandchildren can learn and experience as well as keep in the family our cultural heritage, believes, ways of life and appreciate all the nature has to give us.
Thanks and blessings, if you have land you want to donate for a good cause or are interested in a partnership/bartering of services to help others suffering and recovering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI) like myself but still have a dream and drive to help others please reach out to me. I still believe in miracles! Stay safe!
