21 Acres In Milton

This beautiful farm of 21 acres in the Historic little Town of Milton, CT was used for years by its previous owner as a working farm. The property is a Historic property on the register, known as the H. P. Welch Mansion. It now has a lovely meadow with flowers and hay. I want to farm the land again. Perhaps part as organic veg, herb and lavender, part as orchard, part as vineyard if possible, or all one flower crop- sunflowers now in late summer early fall to start. We have two horses we want to bring to the property, and want to have some other farm animals and hens. There is a beautiful 6 stall horse barn, hen shed, storage and separate air conditioned housing available. I am looking for 1-2 live in staff who are full time, and a group of summer specialty staff, or part-time throughout the year. I can lease part of the land and share crop also. It would be a plus if applicant could do light fencing, and had experience with horses, organic gardening and cooking. Chef / light housekeeping staff position available also.
