Description

1/4 acres established vineyard with Cayuga White and Traminette grape varieties. First established in 2008 by the UConn extension program. Vines need to be pruned and fungicides/herbicides can be used. We have vineyard establishment materials such as Blue-X grow tubes and bird netting available. About an additional 1+ acres of well drained soils are currently in hay but may be available for row crops, flowers, fruit production.  Additional acreage of wetter hayland soils and wet woodland could potentially be available.
