Description

This is a small farm with big potential!
We have planted perennial crops of elderberries, raspberries, strawberries, asparagus, flowers and hazelbert nuts and there’s plenty of space for annual vegetable or flower production in the fields and three high tunnels. A small greenhouse to start plants in and cold frames for hardening off are in place. The land has always been farmed organically, currently as Certified Naturally Grown.
The farm shop is, in a word, adorable! It’s located on the farm property, which is on a busy road and is frequented by a constantly growing flow of regular customers. In addition to our farm produce and eggs, we sell plant starts in spring, pumpkins and mums in the fall and at one time had big Christmas wreath and tree sales ( which we’ve retired from.) There are at least three thriving farmers markets in the area and lots of restaurants to do wholesale business with.
Outbuildings include a chicken coop large enough to house 50 hens, a tool shed, small barn, one bay garage/ shop and outhouse with composting toilet and two currently unoccupied bee hives. A separate farm well was drilled last spring and hydrants for irrigation systems are in place. Older farm vehicles; a dump truck, market van and pick up truck may also be available for purchase.
The three or four bedroom, two bathroom farm house is roomy yet cozy, and recently renovated with a new roof, windows and floors. Other extras include a walk in cooler, 2 wash and pack areas, a two year old bcs tractor with implements, and lots more.
This is an amazing opportunity for the person who is ready to move in and start farming!
